Boss Chicken Restaurant

At EME Design Studio, I had the opportunity to develop the branding and packaging for Boss Chicken, a fast-casual restaurant in El Paso, Texas. The goal was to create a fun and energetic identity that stood out in the crowded chicken market.

I illustrated a series of playful, hand-drawn chickens with pompadour hairdos, sunglasses, and styling combs, giving the brand an edgy and fun vibe. These illustrations were applied across various packaging materials, including paper cups, liners, bags, and boxes, as well as on t-shirts and other collateral.

It was gratifying to see the project receive recognition with a Gold Award for Branding at the 2019 Indigo Awards: a nice confirmation that the design resonated with both the client and the community.
