Razor MD® X Humphrey Bogart Collection
Product Concept: RX Post Shave, Pre-Shave Oil & Shave Soap
This product proposal for Razor MD reimagines traditional grooming essentials through the lens of cinematic legend Humphrey Bogart. The collection draws inspiration from Bogart’s iconic roles, signature style, and personal character traits, balancing vintage charm with modern design sensibilities. Each concept is rooted in thoughtful art direction and storytelling, designed to resonate with both classic film enthusiasts and style-conscious consumers.
Option 1 – "Silver Screen Swagger"
1920s Pulp Poster / Party Spirit / Slick & Manly
This direction embraces the bold flair of 1920s pulp cinema and Bogart’s unmistakable charisma. Gold, silver, and copper foil details accent a sleek black bottle, dropper, and shaving puck, exuding luxury with an edge. The vertical orientation of the labels adds a sophisticated, modern twist, while nods to Bogart’s fiery temperament and love for nightlife evoke a strong, masculine energy.
The overall aesthetic is smooth, sharp, and unapologetically confident: just like Bogart himself.
Option 2 – "Minimal Icons, Timeless Legacy"
Minimalist Symbols & Metallic Foil
This design concept distills iconic elements from Bogart’s most memorable films into minimalist symbols. The helm from The African Queen, the piano from Casablanca, and the falcon statue from The Maltese Falcon are subtly integrated into each product’s packaging. These elements are juxtaposed against gold, silver, and copper gilded foil—intentionally weathered to resemble antique relics with a modern edge.
The result is a timeless collection that feels both cinematic and contemporary, honoring the legacy of Bogart through clean, intentional design.
