The Pizza Joint® Event & Promotional Poster Design

Designing and animating a series of posters for The Pizza Joint in El Paso, TX was a creatively rewarding experience. The brand’s playful mascot, “Pierre,” provided a fun and flexible foundation for exploring unique themes and storytelling across both static and animated formats.

Each poster for the pizza-eating contest showcased a distinct narrative, whether Pierre was stepping into the ring as a boxing champion or being whisked away by aliens excited to join the competition. These imaginative concepts were also carried into the anniversary campaign, maintaining a cohesive yet engaging visual identity. The Pizza Joint’s signature sense of humor and quirkiness. Many of these posters were also brought to life through animation and featured across the brand’s social media channels, helping to boost engagement and bring added energy to the campaigns.

Overview
This project consists of a series of promotional graphics created to increase social media engagement and drive foot traffic for The Pizza Joint’s in-store events.

I developed a cohesive set of graphics built around the brand’s mascot and bold color palette, ensuring each image felt distinct while maintaining a consistent visual identity. The designs were optimized for social media formats, with clear hierarchy and strong visual hooks to quickly communicate event details.

Execution
The final collection included multiple poster variations and animated assets used across digital and physical touchpoints to reinforce brand presence and encourage in-store participation.
