Curadero Mexican Restaurant
At EME Design Studio, I had the pleasure of working on the branding and packaging for Curadero, a modern Mexican restaurant located in the Palomar Hotel in San Diego. The project was centered around blending spiritual healing themes with contemporary design to create a unique dining experience.
In addition to the main identity, I designed a variety of supporting materials including menus, a card deck, salsa labels, and the distinctive “Book of Spells” bar book, which was crafted to feel like a mystical healer’s tome. These elements helped bring the brand story to life in playful and engaging ways across multiple touchpoints.
The project was honored with a Gold Award for Branding at the 2018 Indigo Awards: a rewarding acknowledgment of the thoughtful, cohesive design system we built together.
